Brooklyn
by Bond No. 9

The latest cologne from the NYC-obsessed fragrance house Bond No. 9 is a hipster-infused blend that we were told was one of their most masculine, so we decided to give it a try. I opened the graffiti-covered bottle, expecting the top-notes of Parliaments, flannel and vinyl records, but was pleasantly surprised with a light, grassy scent. As the day went on, the sweetness faded into a spicy, woody fragrance—hearty, yet subtle. Which is the best thing about good cologne. And if you don't dig the bottle, the company's taking submissions through the end of the month for an all-new design. Apparently, the subway-window look hasn't been too popular.

$145, at Saks Fifth Avenue

Summer Shoe Funk

Question

I've been going sockless for a while now. The only problem is that my shoes have started to smell, um, gross. Are there any tricks or products you'd recommend to destroy the funk?
