  • The West Indian lime is also known as the key lime in the United States.

Spritz

with a

Twist

You can't get more classic than a lime cologne for summer. Your father probably wore one back in the day and likely your grandfather did too. Clean yet slightly woody, the scent is the olfactory equivalent to madras or linen—signaling to the world that you realize summer comes with its own relaxed set of rules. Once the provenance of the country club set (a house blend for J.Press was custom mixed by Caswell-Massey), there are a few fragrance makers mixing more modern blends, tinkering ever so slightly with a centuries-old formula. And if you're worried about smelling like a margarita, fear not. The colognes are made with the oil from the skin of West Indian limes, not the juice.
