The

Black Bar

Men's grooming is often a study in practicality. But one simple luxury every man should consider is a great bar of soap. And right now, some of the best bars are black. Ranging from a triple-milled French soap and a unique square block to a "big ass brick,"  all the bars have masculine, musky scents thanks to earthy ingredients like cedar wood, tea tree and pepper. The dark hues? They're from natural elements like charcoal, clay and volcanic ash. While that may not sound gentle enough for your face, give them a try. "Those mineral-rich ingredients act like magnets for impurities within your skin," says The Motley's Madison Ruggieri. "You can count on charcoal and clay to gently exfoliate, unclog pores and prevent breakouts while restoring skin with nutrients like iron, magnesium and potassium."

While the bars are dark, the suds, surprisingly, are not. Though some of the lather is light grey in color.
