FYI

Virginia is technically not a state, it designates itself as a Commonwealth, along with Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.

The Commonwealth Collection

When we last checked in with Virginia-based shirtmaker Ledbury, they were working on limited-edition button-downs. Their latest venture pays homage to their home base while allowing them to branch out with their product. Called the Commonwealth Collection, the line of hand-crafted accessories—made in conjunction with Virginia artisans—debuts today with the Free Union belt. Made from large-hide English bridle leather in conjunction with Wiley Brothers Belts, known for their quality, equestrian-inspired products. Each one is entirely handmade in Virginia's Albemarle County. The buckle utilizes a convenient quick-release mechanism and is crafted from a white bronze that will develop a nice patina over time. The best part? It's just $165. Considering similar quality belts can fetch over $300, we're pretty tempted to pull the trigger ourselves.
