The Chino Spectrum

Styling Tip

Keep things casual with a plaid shirt and a heather grey hoodie.

With the last month of summer in full swing, we're already thinking of refreshing our fall wardrobe. Lately, there's been a bunch of great new chinos in slimmer fits and versatile colors, good for any occasion—whether you wear them with a sport coat and double monks or a sweatshirt and sneakers. Khakis are one of the menswear staples that never really go out of style, but are constantly being updated. Here are a few we've got our eyes on, in a range of prices.

Dockers, $68 / $59

This soft washed pair has a slim fit and the fabric molds to your body like a pair of jeans.

Club Monaco, $70

With a slim fit and a washed fabric, these are comfortable, but tend to be longer than others.

Unis, $198

Proudly made in America from superior fabrics, and the cut is known for making your ass look great.

Gap, $60

A trim, but relaxed fit with a button-fly. And it comes in 11 colors and a huge range of sizes.

J.Crew, $75

Modeled after their popular 484 jeans, it's an extra slim fit with a faded worn-in charm.

Ovadia & Sons, $285

Tailored, with details like a flap button pocket and an unfinished hem, these are grown up trousers.
