Odin for Target

Boots, $50

Here's the thing about most capsule collections fashion brands have with mass retailers: almost all of them leave the guys out. It's as if the companies decide that only women are looking for stylish and affordable options. Thankfully, Target gets it. And so does Odin, the New York shop with a uniquely rugged style. Co-owner Eddy Chai knows what looks great and the kinds of accoutrements that regular guys need. It doesn't hurt that his brother is designer and Filson Creative Director Richard Chai either. Perhaps the only problem in buying a lot of stuff from his store is, well, most of it is pretty pricey. Their new collection for Target however, is not only affordable, but maintains the downtown, casual vibe that's made them a go-to shopping destination. From modern boots that offer a new twist on a classic chukka and a well-tailored take on a military jacket, to woody candles that aren't unlike the high-end versions they sell at their store.
