McNairy's
Camo Cargos

When GQ announced its series of designer collaborations with Gap, people instantly buzzed about affordable, attractive outerwear options like Ian Velardi's blanket stripe peacoat or Todd Snyder's blaze orange parka. It wasn't until we were trying on more of the collection this weekend that we discovered the "sleeper hit" of them all: Mark McNairy's wool camouflage cargo trousers. Made of a wool blend and designed like a pair of classic army trousers—complete with snap button flap pockets and straps sewn onto the waistband—they're thankfully rendered in a slim, modern fit that don't look out of place with brogues, boots or sneakers. At just shy of $80, they're an unexpected fall item that's easy on the wallet. But move quickly as stores and the web are starting to sell out of sizes.

Styling Tip

Can't really see yourself wearing camo? Try these simpler field cargo pants on for size.
