Styling Tip

Layer up with a shirt jacket or denim jacket underneath on blustery days.

Burlington Flats Jacket

The coach's jacket is a silhouette that doesn't get a lot of shine in the menswear world. Something of a mash-up between a snap-button baseball jacket and mac coat, it has however, developed something of a cult following among skaters and the streetwear world. But those interpretations get done up in fits and finishes more suited for a high schooler or sneakerhead than a stylish, modern gentleman.  This version here, from Japanese company Colimbo, ticks a whole lot of boxes—the green is versatile enough to wear with just about anything, not to mention, it's pretty appropriate for St. Patrick's Day. The rounded collar really seals the deal, taking this from an athletic-inspired outerwear piece to something a little more smart. The pockets even have a warm microfleece lining, and the snaps are reinforced with leather. Adjustable cuffs and a fit that hits the sweet spot between slim enough to wear over a T-shirt but generous enough to slip a layer under. This is one coach's jacket that's definitely a game winner.
