Deal of the Day

Breton Stripe Henley

The Breton Stripe shirt originated with French sailors, but eventually found its way onto artists like Pablo Picasso and even average guys today. This particular one from Gant Rugger is made from a soft woven cotton, takes the henley's two-button placket (with mother of pearl buttons) and pairs it with a partial chambray lining. The result is the ultimate spring shirt: It's not fussy enough to be considered formal, but can go places where your T-shirts can't. Sleeves like this beg to be rolled up on warm days, and it also functions as a great layering piece under a denim or shirt jacket when the weather is brisk. Think of it as the transitional shirt you never knew you needed. And at this price, well, you don't have much to lose.

Styling Tip

A shirt like this makes a great pinch hitter for your favorite button down shirts. Try it under an easy washed blazer and white denim.
