Ian Velardi is a designer in the sense that he makes clothes, but his output couldn't be further removed from the notion of fashion with a capital F. He specializes in easy-wearing pieces guys want to wear. That isn't to say his products don't push men outside of their comfort zone—he's made racing jackets out of denim and in this collection, lightweight shirt jackets with surplus military details like four front pockets. Even this medium weight jacket is more than meets the eye. Upon closer inspection, the all-over woodland camo pattern reveals a menagerie of animals. Ostriches, lions, elephants, and plenty more silhouettes are hiding throughout the jacket. Did we mention it's also made in Italy out of comfortable, peached cotton? Finished off with details like a contrast corduroy collar and a drawstring waistband, it's a worthy pickup for fall at half off the original price.
