For some time now, Carhartt's European licensee has been producing reinterpretations of the storied American brand's hard-wearing fabrics and garments in trimmer fits with a younger audience in mind. Instead of fuller fits with laborers in mind, the Carhartt Work In Progress guy was more likely to be found grinding rails in a park than putting his nose to the grindstone. Tapered work pants, duck canvas chore coats and trim button-downs come together with hiking-inspired sneakers and Carhartt's easily-recognizable acrylic beanies, resulting in a look that's one part off-duty, and one part men-at-work. The brand's online shop recently debuted here in the US so we poked around to offer up the items we think are worth checking out.
