The Fifth Man

Special Promotion by

After a rigorous renovation, Saks Fifth Avenue is re-opening their men's store in Beverly Hills this weekend. The overhauled West Coast flagship has been dubbed "The Fifth Man," and the multi-level space offers a fresh perspective on luxury shopping. On the main contemporary floor, you'll find continental brands like Brunello Cucinelli alongside younger labels like Gant Rugger and Number:Lab. The shoe section resides in a slickly-outfitted round room in the middle of the floor where you can try on the latest kicks from Del Toro, Zanotti and Louis Leeman. The store officially opens this Saturday, with an event in the new downstairs denim bar. Shop with a cocktail in hand from 10 am to 5 pm and every purchase will benefit a worthy cause.

The Grooming Department

A stockpile of the best in grooming and fragrance—without feeling like you've ponied up to the ladies perfume counter. In fact, the department has a cool, midcentury vibe with metal Bertoia stools by Knoll and a knowledgeable staff on hand to help answer any of your questions.  And the selection of colognes is vast and varied, stocking hard-to-find, small batch scents for fragrance aficionados.

The D-Bar

An underground haven for denimheads, the new denim bar is a raw, modern space outfitted with reclaimed wood, steel beams and exposed concrete. The cash wrap is constructed from a steel cage of rocks. And the jeans lining the shelves? A wide-ranging assortment of classic, dark denim in straight-leg fits along with of-the-moment washes and colors from such brands as J Brand, Nudie, Rag & Bone, PRPS and DL1961.
