Outlier is known for the kind of clothes that combine the best in performance with a distinct sense of style. Last year, they collaborated with shoemaker FEIT for the Supermarine sneakers, resulting in water-repellent, Goodyear-welted kicks that had a comfortable Buffalo leather insole that molded to your feet over time. Outlier and FEIT took that insole and released it as the "Upgrade," orthotics that can now turn anything from a canvas sneaker to a rugged boot into something that's much easier to slip on. Available in a flat version and one with a slight wedge, the buffalo leather will naturally break in with each step, while the wedge version features a lightweight cork heel for shock absorption and a perforated forefoot to accommodate breathability. They're definitely a smart buy if you're planning on going sockless this summer.
