The Suede Buck Spectrum

Styling Tip

Keep your casual looks a bit dressy by pairing these with lightweight chinos and a breezy bomber jacket.

When the sunshine finally comes out, nothing puts more spring in your step than a pair of suede bucks. Lightweight and breathable, there's never been a wider array of colors available. Whether you go with a classic brown (dubbed dirty bucks) or a pristine white pair (which we hope you'll get a little bit dirty) or darker tones like navy, black or olive, it's a warm weather essential you can pretty much start wearing as soon as it's over 50 degrees. Once the heat really starts to hit—think about going sockless. These things were practically made for that. Check out a few options from the easily affordable to designer takes on this classic shoe:

Eastland, $80

An affordable option for a basic dirty buck, with a rounded tow and red EVA soles.

Lands' End, $119

A light suede upper sits on top of a cushion-covered footbed and a shock-absorbing rubber sole.

Walkover, $255

Made in the USA, a siped sole and leather lining add comfort and traction to these blue suede bucks.
