Like most guys with long, thick hair, I sometimes have trouble keeping it in check. Maybe that's why I've experimented with every product under the sun—from old-school hair tonics like Vitalis to Bumble & Bumble's Surf Spray. What have I learned? Price doesn't necessarily mean performance when it comes to grooming products.
But I was still totally surprised to find that Axe's Waterless Shampoo works so well. I'll admit it: I haven't bought anything associated with "Axe" since probably my sophomore year of college. I'm older now, I'm supposed to be a lot wiser too, right? But this stuff doesn't reek of chemicals like typical dry shampoos, nor is it a powdery spray. Instead, it comes out of the bottle in a foam. The suds work their way through hair rather well, making it more malleable and actually doing a damn good job of emulating that "just washed" texture. Whether you use it as a quick post workout fix or a morning shortcut when you're running late (I'm not ashamed to say I've done both), this is one drugstore find that I'm definitely re-upping on.
