There's a new shirt company on its way. Started by Jake Gallagher out of a need that I didn't even know I had until I saw it, Fun Time Shirt Company focuses strictly on button-down popovers. The collection debuted earlier this month at the Pop Up Flea in New York City, hand-in-hand with the decidedly beautiful weather, and I got a first person look. Tucked amongst the treasure trove of menswear was Jake's new brand, and the shirts weren't just a nice break from the usual indigo button down—they were fantastic. Though constructed with a durable oxford cloth, the shirts were lightweight and breathable with an ever so slightly slim fit. I immediately imagined myself popping it on after work on a Friday as I travel to whatever beach house my friends' parents rented out that weekend. The American-made shirts come in range of classic fabrics, from my beloved oxford cloth to a cool chambray and Blackwatch plaid. But you'd better check 'em out quickly. I've got a feeling these aren't going to last very long.
