I have a lot of keys. They open doors, mailboxes, cars and other hidden treasures. And while you've got to have 'em on hand, they aren't that exciting to carry around. The obvious downfall of having numerous keys is the time spent fumbling through my pockets—when its raining or when the temperatures start to really drop—those few moments can become a pain in the ass. With everything from wallets to shoelaces getting stylish overhauls, it's about time the keychain had its own revamp. Which is why I love the Bottlehook.

Made by Corter Leather & Cloth, this little piece of EDC was born out of a successful Kickstarter campaign back in 2012. Completely handmade in the US of A, the hook itself is cast in either Indiana or California, while the brass O-ring is made in Montana, then all of the pieces get together in New England and are assembled and finished off with a hand cut leather tab. Because of the completely hands-on process, shipping takes a bit longer than most keychains, but the Bottlehook isn't like most keychains. Just holding it in your hand you get a feel for the weight and craftsmanship put into these guys. And each reincarnation fades and ages as good as the last. Slide it on your belt loop and keep your keys easily accessible whilst turning a few heads as well. Oh, and the thing can open your beer for you, too.
