Considering how much time we all spend in jeans, having a pair that's current, comfortable and lasting should be a priority. And when it comes to quality jeans, there's a reason why selvedge denim is the gold standard. Unlike standard jeans, selvedge pairs are made from fabric crafted on an old school shuttle loom, which forms a naturally finished edge. It's those signature white out-seams (often seen on cuffed jeans) that make for a tighter, stronger material that's less prone to fraying. Of course, selvedge jeans require more work, which in turn comes with a higher price tag. But thankfully, these days you can find some impressive pairs out there for less than $100. We've rounded up a handful of our favorites.
