The Menswear Collaboration You Need on Your Radar

Faherty, that laid back line of coastal cool clothes, has just partnered with Stag, the popular men's mercantile with shops in Texas and California, on a range of adaptable outerwear that's as cool as it is comfortable. The pieces, which range from a layerable military-inspired shirt and reversible storm jacket, have a rugged sense of adventure about them.

Mike Faherty, the label's head designer, worked closely with Stag co-owners Don Weir and Steve Shuck while creating the pieces, utilizing durable, workwear inspired fabrics that were developed exclusively for the brand. To create the collection, Mike drew much of his design inspiration from vintage pieces, including a naval CPO jacket he updated with a rich, indigo-dyed terry fabric and a western inspired down-filled vest that features Faherty's popular canteen stripe blanket liner.

The styles have been updated to be more modern and easily worn today, but distinct design elements were kept in each design that stays true to the unique details of the original garments—from horn buttons to authentic Talon zippers. They're the kind of hardwearing pieces you'll be able to pull on all fall and winter, no matter what adventures you've got planned.
