The Launch
Take Your Urban Commute
to the Next Level
The first time we visited Taylor Stitch's San Francisco headquarters, one of the interesting things we saw was a massive rack of cool, kitted-out bikes that many staffers rode into the office that day. To say this is a group that appreciates their temperate California climate would be an understatement.

So it makes sense that the label is introducing a smart line of clothing for the urban commuter. The new collection, CIVIC, consists of sharp looking staples that, according to the brand, "effortlessly follow you through the most demanding of city commutes—be it by bike, foot or bus, into the office, and out on the town." Each piece is crafted from special merino wool fabrics Taylor Stitch developed to combine style and comfort with technical performance and durability. The chambray Jack shirt, for example, is a tailored button-down that not only wicks away moisture and regulates body temperature, but it's also stain and odor resistant.
But this isn't just a savvy label dipping its toes into performance gear. The brand hopes that the gear inspires more people to consider their commute and "support sustainable travel as a means to healthier lives and stronger communities." What's more, if you order something during the pre-order period, you'll get a discount of up to 25% off the retail price. What more convincing do you need?
