American Rag's Mark Werts started paying attention to clothes in order to meet members of the opposite sex. Starting out his clothing business with vintage, he soon branched out into picking up other collections. Now his LA store still sells some vintage, along with vintage-inspired lines like Mister Freedom, and such fashion-forward designers as Rick Owens and Robert Geller.
