A Box Set

Billy Reid, the Dixie-based designer, has quickly gained a following for his down home charm and upscale taste. But his musical roots, apparently, run as deep as his Southern heritage. Reid often hosts emerging rock bands at his stores (sometimes even joining them onstage) and personally curates a seasonal playlist for his website. So when the time came to design something for the holidays, it was a no brainer—a music box done Billy Reid style. The old school case is constructed from reclaimed pine wood and is stuffed with four butter-soft tee shirts (two short sleeve, two long) along with a compilation album of songs by Patterson Hood from Drive By Truckers, Justin Townes Earle and Old Crow Medicine Show. Only 200 were made, so if you're planning to give (or ask for) this, it's probably best to beat the holiday rush.

$295, available Nov. 15th at Billy Reid

  • If you happen to run into Reid himself at his Florence, AL flagship, take him up on a bloody mary.

- Matt, OH

Answer
