Next week, YMC—the London-based label known for its classic pieces with a modern edge—will unveil a lower-priced line dubbed YMC Basic. Though you'd be mistaken if "basic" calls to mind white T-shirts and jeans. YMC founders Fraser Moss and Jimmy Collins bring the same quality and decidedly light design touch to a full line of affordable spring pieces. Think waxed cotton jackets, retro polos with shrunken button-down collars, feather-weight perforated sweaters and trim tab-front shorts. Certainly not flashy, but they're anything but basic.
