Bold Scarves

Let's face it. Winter can bring some dark, dreary days. Not to mention that most of our outerwear consists of colors like black, grey or navy (and maybe camel, if we're really stepping out). Take a page out of a sharp-dressed Italian's playbook and brighten your outlook by knotting up a colorful scarf. These eye-grabbing neck warmers strike an optimistic tone on those cruel, cold days and offer an easy way to add some unconventional color to your winter wardrobe. Traditional university scarves have always featured primary colors, but these vibrant styles (think blogger blue, mustard yellow or Native American patterns) are definitely more modern.
