Ernest Alexander Sabine launched his namesake line in 2009 with a few bags and men's accessories. Thanks to the craftsmanship, quality of materials and thoughtful designs, he quickly made a name for himself. But it was only a matter of time before he expanded into clothing and outerwear. Tailoring runs deep in his family and it shows. His Calder work shirt has become a new favorite of ours. Sure, the workwear details are there, but this feels more refined than your average work shirt. Perhaps it's the fabric (a beautiful Italian cotton chambray), button-down collar or the bespoke-feeling fit, but you'll find all sorts of ways to wear this. Under a cardigan with khakis. With a tie and your favorite blazer/jean combo. Over a waffle-knit thermal and under a puffer vest. And like all Ernest Alexander pieces, it's proudly made in America, meaning it's tough enough to handle multiple wearings with ease. The real question is whether to go with blue or grey.
