  • Founded in 1818, Brooks Brothers is the oldest men's clothier in the United States.

We're not quite ready for warm weather clothes just yet—it's still a touch early to be breaking out the bucks and bright chinos. But then again, you've likely noticed the stuff hitting stores shelves as of late. Brooks Brothers just unveiled their first batch of spring offerings and if you're not a regular Brooks shopper, we suggest you venture a look. The 194-year-old clothier has found a stylish sweet spot between venerable prep staples and a youthful rebellion. That means fitted oxford button-downs with madras elbow patches (not unlike something you'd find from a line like Engineered Garments). Or critter shorts embroidered with ants that appear to be crawling over your legs. Or ripstop canvas Keds with rawhide laces and a repp stripe lining. Your daddy's Brooks Brothers, this ain't.
