Winter
Survival Style

We're big proponents of layering. It's the smartest way to stay warm and add some texture to your look this time of year. Sporting a puffer vest over your sweater or sport coat has become a fool-proof sartorial move as of late, but we've been noticing a new take. Sharp-dressed guys layering lightweight technical shells and vests under their blazers. Like the equestrian-influenced hacking jackets and vests in Club Monaco's latest collection. The low-profile quilted nylon pieces slip perfectly under a jacket (without any of the bulk), and with just enough color peeking out to keep an otherwise muted winter wardrobe interesting. And the best part is that you can still rock them long after you packed away the watch caps, gloves and scarves.
