The

Wallet
Replacement

$85, at Nordstrom

The only thing more traumatic than losing your wallet ... is having it die on you. This recently happened to me. Seams splitting, leather worn through and the ID window hazed over and cracking. For some reason, wallets are one of those items guys seem to have for some time. I had mine for so long, I can't remember where I got it. But surely, for a fashion editor, finding an appropriate replacement would be easy. Or so I thought. The thing is, my old wallet was perfect, with a slim profile and just enough space for a little cash and a few cards. And I'm not proud of this, but I also didn't want to mess up the hard-earned wallet outline on my jeans pocket. But then I found this little beauty from Jack Spade. With the same dimensions as my original wallet, this minimalist update offers an even better interior, with an accessible currency flap and a sleeve for my ID and business cards. If you're looking for a slim wallet for the coming spring and summer, this lean leather case is perfect. It comes in four colors, but I'm going with a classic tobacco shade. After all, I'm hoping to have this guy for a while.

  • The very first Jack Spade bag was sold to a hardware store in 1997.
