The Alpha Khaki

If you've been paying attention, it's pretty clear by now that Dockers has successfully shaken off any stodgy business casual rep and emerged as a brand that's been listening carefully to the needs of modern men. And styles like their Alpha Khaki certainly prove that point. A trim fitting chino with a slightly tapered leg, they fit as though you've just gotten them back from the tailor. We've been road testing a pair for a while now and can assure you they hold up to multiple washing and actually get better when broken in. You'll appreciate the softer feel, worn-in waistband and personalized fit—not unlike your favorite pair of jeans. Last month, they introduced a camo style that sold out almost overnight. And now, they're releasing a spring lineup of bold colors and subdued neutrals. We're partial to this shade, dubbed "Copen blue," which falls somewhere in the middle between the two.

Chinos, available in a range
of colors, $59 by Dockers

Sneakers, $55 by Jack Purcell
