The
Hill-Side
Sneakers

The Hill-Side has become a go-to brand for modern gents the world over, and for good reason. Brothers and co-founders Emil and Sandy Corsillo put a lot of effort into sourcing unique and well-made fabrics and their designs are timeless with carefully considered updates and finishing details. Their latest collection for spring sees a foray into sneakers, and as expected, the kicks are uniquely their own while calling to mind a familiar shape and style. With options ranging from a crisp cotton chambray and indigo-dyed denim to a subtly loud camo inspired by the Italian military, Italian

there are a handful of options to suit your personal style. Emil told us he's been collecting old sneakers from the 1920s and 30s for a while, and cites these vintage pieces as part of the inspiration behind the new collection. The sneakers themselves are hand sewn at a factory in Kyushu, Japan. They're crafted with durable cotton laces, grounded with a comfortable padded footbed and finished with metal eyelets and a gum rubber sole. A few of the styles are popping up at shops like Context and Stag, but the entire collection is launching today at Hickoree's.
