In Seattle? Check out Blackbird's brick and mortar digs.

"Blackbird was based on the idea of a mercantile store," says Nicole Miller, founder of the eclectic Seattle shop. The store recently opened an e-commerce site with an aptly-named mercantile section featuring vintage pieces from the shopkeep's personal collection. Miller's esoteric aesthetic is attributed to a life of travel—living on a farm, a sail boat and in a teepee. "I think these things round out the idea of who my customer is," she says. "I don't really care if they sell." But sell they are, so hurry. After all, these are one-of-a-kind finds.
