  • Though he often wears his own label, Spencer is particularly fond of Nice Collective and outdoor gear by Patagonia.

Brit designer Oliver Spencer began his fashion career in 1990 with the formal label Favourbrook, crafting suits Englishmen wore to formal events and weddings. But since Spencer is a salt-of-the-Earth kind of guy, he was soon designing more casual pieces for himself as well as a few clients. The clothes were quintessentially British, inspired by military and hunting gear, and by 2002, Spencer had a legitimate label on his hands. Next he opened an eponymous store on London's Lambs Conduit Street followed by another in New York, thanks to the retail minds behind Odin. Now, he's bringing his rustic-prep style to the world with a new e-store. The summer collection is going up now, and keep an eye out for coming multi-media features like stylish behind-the-scenes videos and podcasts featuring interviews with luminaries from London's art and design crowd.
