British e-tailer ASOS is known for bringing stylish, in-demand pieces to the masses with their affordably priced namesake brand. And now, they're raising the bar for themselves with a premium capsule collection of tailored goods, footwear and accessories made with upscale materials like authentic Harris Tweed, luxe leathers and British and Italian wools. The footwear is handmade in the heart of the British shoemaking industry, Northampton, using traditional Goodyear welted construction and richly textured leathers. Tailored pieces include some handsome tweed outwear, from British-made bombers and pea coats, to smart, updated suiting made from Italian wool. John Mooney, the head of menswear for the company, wanted the collection to have a distinct heritage feel, but still be accessible to the average guy. So while the materials are high-end, the prices are not. Because let's face, the only downside to buying items made with integrity from quality materials is, well, the sticker shock.
