At Valet., we cover fashion for regular guys, so we focus on more mainstream brands. But there are smaller labels on the menswear radar that we think you should be aware of ... So we've created this feature to help you diversify and de-homogenize your wardrobe.

La Panoplie

La Panoplie was founded in 2010 by Gerald Rossi and Olivier Sudre, two French gentlemen that share an understated but elegant style. The brand has come to embody Paris' burgeoning street style scene with clean lines and unique details in every collection. With a brooding, urban spirit in mind, they have created a modern, contemporary look that flows easily between life's different encounters.

While Rossi and Sudre still work out of La Panopile's minimally-designed shop in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, the label now sells in over a dozen countries, including some of America's best menswear shops. What most prominently sets them apart from their French peers is the brand's attainability. A cleverly quilted sweatshirt like the one you see here will run you a manageable $170. And their handsome utilitarian outerwear and of-the-moment pieces like tweed joggers easily mix into the rest of your wardrobe. Check out La Panoplie's site for all their retail partners and garner some inspiration from their current look book. Then keep an eye out for more things to come from this growing European brand as their influence takes hold on this side of the pond.
