Levi's® is a brand steeped in history, American iconography and quality. And nothing epitomizes the world-renowned denim brand's lasting style like their Levi's Vintage Clothing label. Crafted in the United States from top shelf, historically accurate materials, the range is made up entirely of authentic stitch-for-stitch remakes of classic styles that are still relevant today. Levi's is the only brand who could do this right—the source material is the brand's own product, found inside the company's massive archive vault, which houses some of the world's oldest pairs of jeans.

Bringing new meaning to the saying, "made the old fashioned way," these exact re-creations of the archival designs are the most authentic jeans you can buy on the market today. And proving once again that you can't go wrong with classic style, these handsome and hardwearing pieces are stylish today as they were decades ago. So how far back should you go? That's up to you. While the brand has been making the 501 model jeans since 1890, it was the 1947 edition that is credited with the birth of the modern blue jean. By 1954, the fit was slimmer and slightly tapered; not unlike the kind of denim most style-minded guys want to wear today. Eventually, the 501 came to stand for what we know it as today: a comfortable, no-nonsense cut with a medium rise, as seen on the 1978 straight leg style.
