Enduring Classic

Squared-Off
Aviators

When it comes to sunglasses this summer, I'll be sporting some squared-off shades. More compact than your average aviators, they just seem more low-key. Think of it this way: In "Top Gun," Tom Cruise's Maverick donned Ray-Ban's classic tear-drop style, but Goose—his easygoing wingman—opted for the squared-off lenses. And while you can find versions for less, cheap eyewear offers a false sense of savings. They don't provide as much protection and they simply break too easily. Invest in a quality pair like these from the legendary brands that have all supplied shades to the real deal at one time.

- Matt, OH

Answer
