Denim Trousers

Something of a sartorial riddle, these pants are made of denim, but they're not jeans. You see, jeans have a specific cut—the five pockets, the yoke on the back, the chain-stitched hems. Not to mention, jeans are really defined by the use of rivets. Without those, you can't really call 'em jeans. But that doesn't mean these rugged trousers are any less durable or versatile. Wear them with anything you'd usually sport with your go-to pair of selvedge jeans and enjoy the extra polish they provide an outfit. Rogue Territory led off this refined denim revolution earlier this year with their RK ISC trousers (they're now sold out, but keep your eye out for new styles dropping this spring). And this season, both Unis and Paul Smith have put their stamp on the style.
