When it comes to outerwear, we'd usually recommend going neutral in color. Blue, grey or shades of tan? Of course. After all, you want something that can easily layer over whatever you're wearing that day, right? Well, this fall there are too many jackets in shades of orange to ignore. Sure, it's a bold move, but the color—in hues from safety orange to more subdued pumpkin—is surprisingly versatile. They look sharp layered over a casual sweatshirt or jeans and complement more buttoned-up pieces like blazers and chinos as well. And apparently, the color isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so why not give one a try?
