Double Time

The thing about reversible clothing is that while the idea of getting two items for the price of one is appealing, the wearability and fit is often lacking. But thankfully, reversible shorts are one style that works. And they certainly come in handy when you inevitably drip something on them at a barbecue. The ones here are cut from washed cottons with simple details like preppy tab waists or madras on one side and military style field pockets on the other. They dress up or down with a few simple cuffs of the hem and work with a slew of shirt styles. Which means you can get away with only packing one pair of shorts on your upcoming summer vacations.

Dockers, $68
