Die Workwear's Derek Guy isn't a fan of lists about spring essentials, "because they're about things that are obviously not essential, or they're about things so basic, they're mind numbingly boring." So he decided to round up some non-essentials. Some sharp-looking items that you don't necessarily need, but may want to consider. And we have to say we're down with his choices. Here's just a sampling of his picks.
RRL Chambray Shirt
Crafted from lightweight indigo-dyed cotton chambray that has an authentic construction and details.
"The jacket I want most this season. Ignore Mr Porter's terrible styling and trust me that it looks great when worn. Slightly trucker-jacket-like cut with a high stance collar."
J.Crew Fatigue Jacket
"J.Crew brought back their Garrison fatigue jacket. I've always thought this was a really underrated piece as far as affordable outerwear goes."
