"We already know that sitting is very bad for you," writes Jesse Singal over at Science of Us. "Now there's another silent office menace to worry about: a lack of natural light." A new study examined groups of office works, half of whom had desks in areas that got no natural light. The ones who did work near some windows "slept about 46 minutes more per night, had fewer physical problems, felt more vital, and appeared to engage in more physical activity." So if you can't see the sun at work, consider making a coffee run, if only for a little dose of Vitamin D.
