Just in time for The Simpsons' 25th anniversary, Jalopnik's Jason Torchinsky has produced a massive post cataloging every real-world car used as a reference for an animated automobile on the show. After more than two decades on the air, that's a lot of cars. And surprisingly, most are based on real rides. "They've had plenty of time to work in a lot of actual cars into the show," he writes.  "This list will be for every car that can be pretty reasonably identified as a real-world car—that's why the Powell Motors Homer and the Canyonero aren't on the list." The list is currently at 92 entries, but growing with multiple user-generated additions, and includes everything from a Porsche 911 Targa and a Delorean to a Smart Car and a WWII-era Jeep.
