Domaine proves this point with a story on Washington D.C.-based designer Lindsay Speace's latest project. Charged with creating a functional, relaxing and masculine home for a guy who travels a lot, Speace took inspiration from menswear and outfitted the space with classic patterns, comfortable furniture and architectural additions like a built-in bookcase finished with handsome yet affordable industrial hardware. She saved even more cash by finding lamps and accent furniture from stores like West Elm.
