The Best Inexpensive Whiskeys
It's tax day, so two things are clear: You likely need a drink and you probably don't want to spend too much on anything. So this piece from Men's Journal is perfectly timed. Their spirits writer Michael Schaub has rounded up and reviewed five affordable but quality whiskeys. "Sure, a plastic handle of corn whiskey on sale for ten bucks is never going to turn out well," writes Schaub. "But you don't have to mortgage your house to get a memorable bottle of bourbon or rye that's just as good straight as with a splash of soda or a dash of quality bitters."
