Eric Wilson writes in today's Times about designers' penchant for over-the-top layers. They gave the top spot to Rag & Bone's David Neville and Marcus Wainwright for their cozy collection of Aline knits, fleecy camouflage and shearling vests. The runner-up, he writes, "Loden Dager [pictured above] had some good ideas, pairing thin turtlenecks or neckties with a casual shirt in a style that recalled early John Hughes films, but their button-fly long johns looked a little fishy."
