This week's Critical Shopper column in the Times checks in with Club Monaco—a brand that we wish had e-commerce, if only so we could feature pieces from it more on the site. Though columnist Jon Caramanica did find a few pieces he liked on a recent trip to the 5th Avenue store, he did have some beefs with Club Monaco's color choices and the finer details of their chinos and jackets. "A recent overhaul of suit designs looks crisp in photographs but is less impressive up close. Still, for the occasional suit wearer, the prices—around $500—are attractive."
