
WWD announced today that Burberry launched a social-media site called Art of the Trench. An homage to the brand's signature coat, the site is a way for aficionados and fans to "interact with the culture of the brand and with the emotional aspects of the trenchcoat," said designer Christopher Bailey. The site features an interactive timeline but the bulk of the site is submitted photos from around the world along with photos commissioned from, who else, the Sartorialist.
