As if the Wolverine 1000 Mile boots weren't already the coolest pair of kicks you could sport this fall, the brand's blog just posted an interview with Aaron Draplin, the man behind the much loved Draplin Design Co. who's also responsible for another cult favorite—the look and design of Field Notes. When asked what he'd be doing if he weren't an in-demand graphic designer he answers:

I'd go and "walk the earth" and live in my van. Yeah, that's what I'd be doing: Diggin' America, nomad style.
