English Countryside Style

Vanity Fair's fashion market director Michael Carl writes about his recent adventure of shooting, hiking and eating his way around the English countryside. He comes back inspired and puts together a list of winter staples with a British twist that would look great even if you never leave your neighborhood this winter.

It was time for a 'walkabout,' which is really just a walk, but adding a word to it makes it sound grand. This little adventure could have been a problem, as I had brought only one suitcase and three outfit changes.
