Every season, the gents from Apolis Activism partner with a developing country to create a compelling travel documentary and usually, some handsome gear with some of the country's natural resources. Co-founder and designer Raan Parton has touched down in Vietnam and is road testing the label's gear while riding motorcycles along the Ho Chi Minh trail. The California native got in a little surfing when he stopped by the famed beach used in the war film Apocalypse Now. "In our mind, the film is a classic American touch-point to what is the past," writes Parton. "Now, fast-forwarding to 2010, we hope to share in Vietnam's attractive future of travel and commerce."
